I didn't know you could just tap/pull records on 600,000 &$%* calls!
Also, customers calls to businesses probably aren't a good indicator of how much a state swears, but cool.
As a statistician, these kind of studies make me facepalm. Very poor experimental design, and the conclusions they draw are sensationalized just to create page hits.
Noticed that Maryland is 2nd behind Ohio in cursing, yet is the 3rd most courteous state-so does that mean that "Thanks, MF'er" is a common occurrence there?
No f*cking way this bulls*it is true
Geez, maybe that's why I feel comfortable in Louisiana. I've always said the f$cking people down here sure as hell remind me of my f$cking friends back home.
An angry fan...rooting for an angry team...led by angry coaches
With the Browns, Bengals, and Indians around, it's no surprise.
"YOLO" = I'm about to do something extremely ignorant/stupid & I need an excuse to do it.
Not anymore with the way the Jackets almost made playoffs!
F!ck that blog.
Who gives a hooping funt what this guy says, for cryin' out the upstairs window!
The numbers are definitely inflated due to the fuck m*chigan act of 1927, requiring all citizens to repeat the phrase at least one time per day.
^^^^ I had completely forgotten about that law. Well F@ck Michigan....there now I feel so much better!!!!
I can't believe that. I lived in Texas for a few years and I can't pinpoint a single time when ANY stranger held the door open for me... It didn't matter that I was literally 7 feet behind them. Just last week in Dover, Delaware at a store, I was asked where I was raised because I was polite and he stated back, it has to be a Midwest thing...
Dumbest study I have ever read about.
It says VA curses the 5th least, but of cities that curse the most, two VA cities (Ashburn and Herndon) rank 1 and 3 respectively. Take it with a grain of salt
It isn't fair when we had 12 Saturdays shouting "Ryan DAMN Shazier!"
What the F@ck? This Washington Buckeye will now move Washington up the ranking by my f@cking self! Sh!t!
Represent, Mutha F#cka!!!!
I'm from Ohio, lived in NJ and live 30 minutes from MD. Three of the top five! That's swell!

That's right F#ck head! We don't do anything half a$$ed!
"Sherman ran an option play right through the south" - Greatest Civil War analogy EVER.
Good thing the study wasn't conducted in 2011. There would have been a separate f#cking category for Ohio.
