Hello all. My girlfriend and I are going up to the Illinois game tomorrow and I'm seeing the campus for the first time. I want to check out the business school and dorms and if anyone has any recommendations on parking or restaurants it would be appreciated. Thanks

Since it is your first time to campus and you want to get a nice view, I would maybe park somewhere around south campus, maybe the gateway and walk through campus. You can walk across campus in a relatively straight line seeing the following sights in this order: south campus dorms, the union, mirror lake, up to the oval, through the library, to the rpac, pass the shoe on your left, admire the white marble architecture school on your right, to Fisher. However, if you are not into a lot of walking, park over by the veterinary school or the french field house. These are on north campus close to both the business school and the Schott. I am a Fisher grad myself and highly recommend it if you are interested in a business degree.
In regards to restaurants, well this just depends on what you want. I recommend eating at the Union, Tommys, Canes, Buckeye donuts, or hounddogs or thurmans if you are going a little off campus. The choices are many and I have barely even scratched the surface.
Take it all in and enjoy the visit.
Thank you! Will do
