Oh I know dude, I'm just hatin a lil bit. That collection of autographs will be really cool to hand down to someone someday. Could you imagine having the whole 68 team? or one of the teams from the 40's? That'd be awesome.
I might be in the minority, but I am still a big fan of his. College football is full of thugs who beat random students (Bama) and their wives (Utah), but Terrelle goes down in infamy for trading memorabilia for tattoos. I'll most remember him beating UM three times and for his work against Oregon.
The postgame show is brought to you by... Christ, I can't find it. The hell with it...
I have a big signed print of Anthony Gonzales in my office. I like it because its a nice photo of him blocking during a M!ch!gan game and because I always liked him as a player. But I became even more fond of it after two of my co-workers separately asked me if it was a picture of me. Now to be fair, I live in NYC, where people know nothing about college football and both of these people weren't born in the States, but you'd think the fact that it was signed might have been a tip-off that it wasn't a picture of me. This is completely aside from the fact that I am built nothing like a first round draft pick and don't look like Gonzales.
I lost it...and I hate myself for it...but I might have the best story.
One of my dad's coworkers was flying out of Chicago to go to a bachelor party in Vegas. When the plane he was about to board landed, out walked none other than Maurice Clarrett. He immediately called up my father and told him Mo Cla was at the airport, so my dad begged him to get his autograph (for me!). So he says let me see what I can do, I'll call you back...ten minutes later my dad gets a call. "Hey Max, I've got some good news and some bad news. I got Maurice's autograph...but the only thing I had for him to autograph was a Penthouse Magazine." This was during the brief time he played for the Broncos, so he signed it as #20. If none of you believe me, then I completely understand as I don't have the photograph evidence, but it's true and my mother absolutely hated that her teenage son had a penthouse magazine displayed in his bedroom.
I have an Eddie George rookie year for the Oilers photo autographed. It's number 88 of the 250 that he did at one particular signing. Also have one from Ahmed Plummer believe it was his senior year at Ohio State, but could have been his junior year, regardless Eddie George is my favorite one.
At Eddie George's Nashville restaurant, you get a free autograph if you finish a 27 oz steak (or used to, I'm not sure if it's still open for business). Eddie never came through with the autograph. This happened when I was younger and I'm irked about it.
I was lucky enough to meet Coach Tressel at the WHAC (long story) prior to a camp; I presented him a ballcap from my ship, and he went back to his office and brought my 2 autographed hats and a blanket for my 8 month old daughter.
"Don't put syrup on shit, and tell me it's pancakes"
No matter how sh*tty the tour is, it's always tough to leave.
Also, once upon a time I got a pair of kicks off of Jimmy Jackson at the Worthington; I don't know what my parents ever did with them when I joined the Navy.

Pepper Johnson. My grandfather took me to the meet the team day when I was little and I had my picture taken with him too. I remember seeing his hands and gawking at how huge they were. Go Bucks!
Here's the story on my hat pictured above. We went to last year's OSU v Wisconsin game in Madison. My daughter graduated last June from OSU and we attended the Alumni Association tailgate party. We showed up a little late, but just in time to hear Archie talk. As soon as he was done, he was just kind of milling around by himself and I told my daughter and wife lets go meet him.
We walked up to him and he saw my hat, he immediately asked me about my connection with Saginaw Valley State, that's where I went to school, it's a small school in mid-M!ch!gan. He asked me if I knew he had a connection there, I told him that I knew he son used to coach there and he said that Andre was still there.
He then looked at me and asked if he could sign my hat so when I was back to Saginaw Valley, I could show his son. Then he asked if we wanted a picture with him. Of course we did, he seems like a great guy.
Mine will come once Braxton and Devin Smith graduate. I have a framed picture of rushing the field after Wisky 2011 that I would like to have signed by those two.
Sat at the same table as Bill Willis at the 1992 OSU basketball banquet. All I had for him to sign was my banquet ticket but its still my favorite simply based on what an absolutely nice guy he was, especially to an 11 year old kid.
I have a #1 jersey with Braxton, Devin, Hall, Stoneburner, Simon, Boren, Shazier, and Sabino on the back/shoulder, and Urban on the front #1, the best part was thanking all of them for such an amazing season.
My brother and I have a basketball warmup that my brother got signed by Lighty, Buford, Diebler, Lauterdale, Sullenger, Craft, and Thomas a few years ago when I took him back to the locker room after a game.
First, I mentioned it in a post awhile ago, but it's my Woody Hayes autograph which says: "Come to Ohio State when you grow up." It was in 1982 and therefore I was about 7. I should have used it as a letter of recommendation...
Secondly, when I was at OSU, one of my roommates was Orlando Pace and he signed a playbook for me as well as the envelop from the Outland Award group. Not the envelop given to announce the winner, but the envelop sent in the mail to him inviting him to the show.
I like the Hopalong Cassady that I gave to my Father last Christmas. It's a great picture of him turning the corner against Illinois. My Dad will never know how close he came to getting a tie and a sweater.

Cris Carter! Oh wait, he shafted me :(

#2 Pro Combat jersey framed in my basement.

Bill Willis for autographs I've bought. Dane Sanzenbacher for autographs I've gotten in person.

Got UFM's a couple of years ago. One of my favorites in the collection is Jack Tatum's.

Mine will come once Braxton and Devin Smith graduate. I have a framed picture of rushing the field after Wisky 2011 that I would like to have signed by those two.
I have a basketball signed for Sullinger and Craft!
I only have one and it's Howard "Hopalong" Cassady on an 8x10 black and white glossy in a Browns' uniform.
"It's just another case of there you are". ~ Doc (1918-2012)
As far as OSU stuff, my favorite is Tressel's and Jim Jackson. Overall I'd say my autographed Pete Rose jersey.
Fan of bacon since 1981
2002 National Championship Sports Illustrated signed by Craig Krenzel
Nike Jersey signed at Buckeye Corner by James Laurinaitis
Holding on to a new Nike authentic with tags #10 for a Troy Smith autograph, however he's still commanding $100 for jersey autographs....
People are saying that I'm an alcoholic, and that's not true, because I only drink when I work, and I'm a workaholic.

Come to Ohio State!
Woody Hayes"
(John and Mike are my two brothers)
SO COOL
Woody Hayes on a 1954 coaches clinic book. I have 17 Woody Hayes autographs, several that are for sale.
My helmet that is signed by Archie, Hop, Troy and most recently Eddie. All done in person.
I have a #1 jersey with Braxton, Devin, Hall, Stoneburner, Simon, Boren, Shazier, and Sabino on the back/shoulder, and Urban on the front #1, the best part was thanking all of them for such an amazing season.

I have three....
