It looks like the SEC will roll out a full-fledged 24-hour sports network in 2014 in partnership with (most likely) ESPN.
The announcement is supposed to come in mid-April, per Pat Forde.
I wonder which network will be more profitable. I also wonder if the SEC network will have the same struggle to get the channel on cable networks across the country. I wouldn't mind if it just stayed in the southeast, because I have no interest in watching Vandy versus Miss. St. in anything.

I would watch Vandy vs Miss St in sorority mud wrastlin...
I stand corrected.
Did the SEC have an announcement about an announcement, and then disclose what they would be announcing at the announcement? In all seriousness, I wonder how that will make Texas feel about their partnership with ESPN when that rolls out in the Texas market (assuming the partnership is with ESPN).
Longhorn network is a bit of a joke. I live in Dallas and Iget Big10 bethel but not longhorn network
I won't be able to even watch this network, because its too fast
I'd expect them to have a ton of football replays/greatest games features during the winter months... SEC basketball is horrendous and no one cares for gymnastics (no offense to the select few who do)...B1G Network has the luxury of being a popular (even in this down era) football conference with massive fanbases and large viewer markets as well as having an outstanding basketball conference...id take B1G Network over SEC Network any day
I thought CBS and E!SPiN were the SEC network.
"YOLO" = I'm about to do something extremely ignorant/stupid & I need an excuse to do it.
Are the networks going to make the conference change their name???
You know, since SEC stands for Southern Ego Circlejerk.
WOOOOOOOO ZIIIIIING!
