Any bourbon drinkers see this announcement? This sucks! All pappy's are great, but the limited supply has just got to piss everyone off at this point. I have been drinking the 12 year for 3 weeks at a bar in Philly, they had one bottle left for the rest of the year. At $16 a glass, it was a bargain. The 23 just got a bit more impossible to ever get, more impossible than the impossible mission already was... I'll stop bitchin' now and go back to the glasses of woodford double Oaked I've been drinking all night. Man!! Watching the combine and waiting for august and proper football has me rambling...

They're combining the spring and fall releases and shipping them together. The intent (I think) is for Pappy to actually hit store shelves instead of getting gobbled up by jerks who put their names on waiting lists at every liquor store in a 100-mile radius (points at self).

I don't think it's going to work. Demand is way too high. Even people on waiting lists don't get a bottle with a one-bottle max.

re: quantities, there was no rye shipping in the spring, so that's not impacted by this. Everything else is. Boo.
