I know this story was posted in a Skull Session earlier this week, but I'd like to post it again so that everyone can get a chance to see it in case they missed it the first time.
This is the link to the feature on CBS News from last Friday about Mitchell Marcus.

Here's the link of the same story on SportsCenter this morning.

Personal note: This takes place in El Paso, Texas (my home for the first 18 years of my life) and I was very proud when I first heard this story. For me, it gives me a little bit of hope that there are still good people in this world. I hope it makes your day a little bit better. Have a great day everyone!
EDIT: I tried embedding the CBS News video but the wrong video came up twice. So I just left the link up there.

Props to the young man from the opposing team that allowed this to happen. Even while his own team was losing the game he found a way to be a winner by helping make this boys dream come true!
For me, what makes this story even better is that these two high schools are big time rivals in El Paso. Both sides were cheering once Mitchell made that basket and I think that's a real testament to the kind of people associated with both schools.
It's true... We really are a bunch of nuts!
Go Bucks!
I'm a former Montwood Ram. EPT in the house. Chico's in the house.
Nice! I'm a former Eastwood Trooper. And yes to Chico's Tacos! I could really use some right now.
