Watching Conley on ESPN right now got me wondering, who is the best Buckeye in the NBA right now? Gotta believe it's between Conley, Turner, and maybe Mullens. Maybe Sully will enter the conversation with a few more games under his belt.
How about in the NFL? Mangold? Hartline? Holmes? Hawk? Laurinaitis? I'm sure I'm missing some, what do you all think?

3-4 years ago I would've said Holmes & Mangold...I'll go with Laurinaitis & Jenkins now.
Alex Boone may be the most underrated OL in the League right now, btw

I don't remember Vin Diesel having that tat?
Time and change will surely show how firm they friendship... O-HI-O.
agree with Conley, then The Villain is the up-and-coming second.
Still think G.O., if healthy, would be the one of the best 3 big men in the Association right now

Kesler for Hockey even though I don't watch Hockey...
Baseball - Swisher
Pro Football: Lauranitis, Jenkins of Whitner... although Winfield is still playing pretty good.
Basketball - Conley and ET. With Kosta and Byron turning into decent players now.
yes, good call...and it's scary how good Winfield still is at his age now. That dude is tough, and just so damn good.

NHL- Kesler, dude was one of the best Americans in the NHL before he was injured.
NFL- James Laurinaitis, he's a tackling machine.
MLB- Swisher, can't really think of another successful Buckeye in the MLB. Maybe Wimmers someday?
NBA- Conley, he's a good PG on a playoff-caliber team. Turner is an up and comer though.
Warfield & Havlicek
You'll notice the post says "right now". That said, wouldn't surprise me if Hondo still has some game
Matt Snell & Lucas
Brockington & Jimmy Cleamons
Turner must've read this forum today and wanted to make a point. He went for 18, 12, and 7 today in a losing effort
Current Players: James Lauranitis, Antoine Winfield
Coach: Dick LeBeau (perhaps the best DC ever)

Kosta Koufos
wait thats not even funny.... sorry
NBA:
1. Mike Conley - Top 10 NBA PG, plays big minutes on a contender
2. Evan Turner - Triple Double threat, size mismatch, become a solid shooter
3. Jared Sullinger - Going to average double digit rebounds for his career
4. BJ Mullens - A real scoring and rebounding threat for the Bobcats despite injuries
5. Kosta Koufos - Solid, dependable role player for the Nuggets, great rebounder
NFL:
1. Brian Hartline - Emerged as a big-time, #1 type reciever this year
2. James Laurinaitis - Big stats, bad team
3. Nick Mangold - Still a stud, despite injuries
4. Antoine Winfield - One of the best corners in NFL history
5. Will Smith - Great DE, sack threat
6. Alex Boone - Key OL on a great running team, now in the Super Bowl
Others: Gamble, Hawk, Holmes
Your list isn't bad, though for the NBA I'd flip-flop Koufos and Mullens. If Koufos was playing for the Bobcats and Mullens for the Nuggets, I think we'd be hearing many different things on each.
Football-wise, you are missing Jenkins and Whitner, two of the best safeties in the game. I'd argue they are both top 5 for OSU players, though you could argue where they fall in that list.

You're right. Totally whiffed on Whitner and Jenkins!
