I just finished reading the book by Chris Spielman, That's Why I'm Here. The book interested me because it's about an OSU football player and his wife's battle with cancer. But the book was about so much more. First of all, Stefanie Spielman was diagnosed with cancer at age 30. It really hit home because I just turned 30. Their story is truly incredible and even though I lived in Columbus while she was so public about her battle, I really didn't know too much about it. I found the book to be so touching and genuine. It makes me like Chris Spielman so much more than I already do. I have so much respect for his wife, Stefanie, and the path he and his famiily have been on. Too many people's lives are affected by this terrible disease.
I highly recommend this book. I'd be remiss if I didn't say that it's not an easy book to read, it's very emotional.
