Plain & simple, he wants the other Superfight vs GSP because he realizes he'll still get paid big and the outcome is far more likely to end up in his favor.

Also, anyone planning on going to Vegas for Superbowl weekend? I've booked a trip & will hopefully get tickets to Aldo vs Edgar.

I wouldnt read too much into that though. Anderson is one who is always a character about fighting. He had said countless times after fighting Irwin that he wasnt going to do another fight at 205, then fought Forrest. Then after that said he wouldnt fight 205 ever again then fought Bonnar. Had been very outspoken about not fighting Sonnen again then fought Sonnen. So when Anderson says stuff like that it basically goes in one ear out the other. He seems like he can be a weird dude at times. Alot of the time actually. Its times though when he says that stuff that really makes me dislike him though.

i just couldnt believe it was such a high amount.... i mean mayweather has never even asked for that much. imo he was just giving an inordinate amount that he knows the ufc wont do, so that he doesnt have to answer questions about being afraid.

i dont think he wants it hes to afraid to lose. although i dont get it i see why the guy has never lost in the ufc and bones most def poses the biggest threat

And I dont see why. The best wrestler in the UFC (Sonnen) was held useless with his skill in the second fight. the second round of that fight Sonnen could not get a TD to save his life. Bonnar who is a huge LHW couldnt get him down even with all those Roids pumping through his veins.

His TDD is better than people give him credit for and Bones stand up is not even in the same ball park as Spiders. Bones would be the biggest threat just based on his size but its not anything that Anderson hasnt dealt with before while finishing every bigger fighter he has fought. I think Anderson has a tougher time with smaller fighters than he does with the bigger ones for some reason.

bones is getting a lot better every time he fights. if u watch the fight between bones and bonnar when bones was just a puppy he threw him all around the ring. when jones fights sonnen you will see that bones can take sonnen down but sonnen wont be able to take bones down. theres a reason silva wants the gsp fight and not bones, and the only plausible explanation i can come up with is he doesnt want a loss. fwiw bones and silva have trained together maybe silva felt something he didnt like. bones is a gigantic lhw.
