I couldnt find a thread about this so i thought i should. I just wanted to say that i hope all of our east coast dwellers are safe. I know Alex and other members on this site are residents of NYC and I've seen the pictures of the destruction. I hope y'all are okay. God Bless.

As a NYC resident I can say things are pretty crazy out here right now. Luckilly I still have power but many MANY of the tri-state area are not so lucky.

I'm sure every agrees when I say thanks for your thoughts.

I know I don't really have to say this but I will anyway. If any of you fellow 11W are in the affected areas please remember to check in on the elderly. Neighbors, friends whatever. Breaks my heart to hear of bad things happening to old folks during spats of inclimate weather like this. You might save someones life!

I know there's a game saturday, and my ass will be there.

Good luck to all of you and our thoughts are indeed with you. Hate to see these tragedies. The hospitals generators not functioning with patients needing evacuations is devastating. Prayers for all of you and peace for your hearts.

that is a subway station in hoboken, just across the river from NYC. Its pretty chilling to see places on the Jersey shore that I grew up minutes from, completely submerged in water.

While we need to keep the entire east coast in our prayers, remember the islands too. Haiti was hit very badly as well, and they will not have the benefit of all the resources available to us as americans.
