Sorry for the plug, but I also recommend picking up some of my family's moonshine if you are making the trip to the KY cork 'n bottle. We opened the Limestone Branch Distillery just this past February and currently sell T.J. Pottinger Moonshine and T.J. Pottinger Sugar*Shine(flavors: blackberry, cherry, strawberry, apple pie, and pumpkin pie). A stocking order just went out this week so they may not have the flavors for this event, however I stopped by this location two weeks ago and they had the regular Sugar*Shine.
Again, I am sorry for the advertisement but we are trying hard to push the products pretty hard and I wanted to mention it to my fellow buckeyes for those who wish to make the trip.
Edit: Also, thanks for posting this. It sounds like an awesome event.
Speaking of 'shine, I also heard something about Popcorn Sutton's moonshine (which is now being legally distilled by Hank Williams) is now being offered over at PartySource in Newport, they're having his widow there to sign bottles. Sounds like it would make for a pretty good weekend when coupled with this; being that it's only two days afterwards.
Nice. Luckily I get to go visit the trail whenever I need to.
Just this past August was the Brew at the Zoo here in Louisville. Love me some bourbon barrel stout!
@SQUIRREL MASTER - From the makers of Kentucky Bourbon Barrel Ale? Have not tried that one. Have only seen the ale in the Dayton, OH area.
@CCOLLINS0325 - I'm pretty sure that the stout is from Bluegrass Brewing Company. It's some tasty stuff. I think the BBA is a little too overwhelmed by the ageing, while the stout holds up a bit better to it.
@Hodge - Well, you made me have to research it, and I found this:

From Alltech’s Lexington Brewing and Distilling Company (also make what they consider some fine bourbon)
Its actually from BBC, Bluegrass Brewing Co.

right down the road from me. It doesn't really have bourbon in it but is made with used bourbon barrels. Great taste!
Edit: Nice find Ccollins. I prefer stout over the ales. Like Hodge said, holds the flavor more.
I got about 3\4th of the way through a bottle of Bulleit between Saturday's Buckeye game and Sunday's Bear game. Warmly tuned up, but at no point was I fall down, stupid, Gary Pinkel drunk. Not much of a hanger either.
Needless to say, the love affair went well.
4-6 seconds from point A to point B and when you get to point B, be pissed off
@BREWSTER - Friend of mine got married on Saturday, and had a crunken reception in the CD102.5 (previously 101.1) Big Room: alcohol was on the house, but limited to white zin, chardonnay, and Yuengling. So I'm downing a Yuenger, when my buddy comes by with a glass and says, "Hodge, check this out," I take one whiff and know I've hit the jackpot. So my buddy leads me to a separate room where there's a 1.75 litre bottle of Bulleit, with a little paper underneath stating "PLEASE DRINK ME XOXO". Win.
@CCOLLINS - This is what I've drank. Didn't know that the Bourbon Barrel Ale guys finally got in on the act haha.
Bourbon Barrel Ale is good stuff. Made a visit down to their brewery in Lexington about 4 or so years ago. It was before it was sold in Ohio and was sold exclusively in Kentucky so I brought home several growlers with me. It was a good week.
