So I have a 4 year old girl who starts soccer this week. Her mother took her to buy her soccer cleats Saturday and my little girl refused to leave the store with anything other than scarlet and grey cleats because as she said "If they are not Buckeye colors I'm not wearing them!"

Sounds like a smart kid! You're obviously raising her right, good job!!!
I spend some time on Saturday afternoon after the game out shopping with my wife, 2.5 year old son, and 9 month old daughter. One of the stores has a table with legos. I spent quite a bit of time explaining to him that the blue pieces and yellow pieces could not be placed next to each other and that the blue pieces can not be placed on top of the red pieces. It is only a mater of time before these simple rules start to "stick". I expect that in a year or two he will be teaching the rules to his younger sister. When my wife saw what I was doing she smiled and said "Good Job. Teach them while they're young." Mind you we were all dressed in OSU gear (not uncommon in central Ohio), but in Vermont people look at you funny and don't know what to make of college football fans.
Go Bucks!
VTBuckeye...That's awesome! I live in SC so I totally understand where you're coming from.
100% of unprayed prayers go unanswered
My 2 1/2 year old twin daughters this past Saturday were walking through walmart in their S&C outfits, everyone they saw with Buckeye Items they yelled "GO BUCKEYES!" (next is O-H-I-O) I'm A proud PA PA..
Capn, Make It So...
I still get crap from my wife due to the fact that my then 7yr old daughter refused to wear a shirt due to the fact that on it was a butterfly with a navy blue and yellow color scheme. To this day it is still one of my proudest moments.
Bravo friends, bravo. I'm attempting to teach my daughter.
How firm thy friendship..
I`m getting ready to buy my grand daughter out here in Cali a Buckeye cheerleading outfit for her first picture in the Scarlet and Grey. Cali Buckeyes are trying to keep the cause alive out here. It`s hard to with USC and Stanford.
Congrats brother. It's great that she's playing sports already.

He was a Michigan fan trolling, been banned all good
Back on topic...one of my daughters favorite halloween costimes was when she dressed up like a scUM cheerleader/homecoming queen. Old yellow sweatshirt with block "M" along with hill-billy teeth and mismatched socks and her hair all messed up.
@VTBuckeye. I LOVE Vermont (went to college in that state) but football country it is not. Unfortunate too because they sure grow 'em big up in the Kingdom.
