If Denard goes down (not wishing this on him), can Michigan beat ND, Nebraska, Michigan State, Iowa? I mean he is literally what they have IMO, their defense isnt very good and I dont think anybody on offense apart from Robinson can do anything. Really dont understand the love Tom Luginbill has for Michigan...they were not impressive last year. Also, Luginbill picking them over OSU at the shoe makes even less sense to me...our team last season was so weak, especially comparing them to what they should be this year and Braxton had us on a game winning drive in that game...until we see how Michigan lines up against Bama, I have a hard time thinking they win 9 games this year... Id peg their losses being Nebraska, Michigan State, Alabama, Ohio State, maybe Notre Dame (having it at Notre Dame), and Iowa isnt a sleeper so they could lose 5-6 games easy this year IMO...the Lugi should stick to recruiting IMO.
He's killing it! I liked what he had to say....but what I really liked was how he handled the OSU - UM game - he never said a word but you knew exactly how he felt.

Games that Michigan could easily lose: Alabama, ND, Nebraska, MSU, and OSU
I think they're a better team than 4 of them, however, they are either away games, rivalry games, or primetime games---some are all three. I don't think you can automatically say we lose 3 or more of those games. If I had to guess, I'd say Bama-L, MSU-W and flip a coin for the other 3.
I think 9-3 and we still end up in Indy.

If they are going to beat Bama the best chance is early in the year. Bama will get better as the season goes on. I agree with Tom, that the two Bama lines will be the difference and they win. I actually like scUM beating MSU this year. At home, and MSU having to replace Cousins gives them the best chance in 5 years to beat Sparty. With the bowl sanctions in 2012 and "The Game" being the championship/bowl game for OSU, I can't see them coming into the Shoe and winning. Urban will have this team ready to go for "The Game" I think 9-3 is a very respectable estimation.
I think TSUN will beat MSU and Iowa at home. I definitely don't think they will beat Alabama, Nebraska in Lincoln, or OSU in the 'Shoe. Notre Dame is a tossup - going to South Bend seems like a tough game, but perception and reality are not always the same for the Irish.
Leave it to Tom Luginbill of ESPN to predict the Buckeyes to start out 10-0, beating wiscy & sparty on the road before losing at home to the TTUN... smh! I'm really starting to believe that you do not need any qualifications or credentials whatsoever to be employed at that dump.
That was pretty good...I haven't been watching ESPN much in the offseason. How is Joey doing in his new gig?
