Graham Spanier - Faculty Member?

Just read an article on ESPN (Link below) about Graham Spanier's lawyers rebutting the statements made in the Freeh Report. What I found interesting was this line in the article:

So, Sandusky is in jail (Yay!), Joe Paterno was fired, the statue was removed, NCAA and Big Ten handed down sanctions, and yet Graham Spanier is still a faculty member a the school?
