Alright I'm visiting OSU tomorrow (prospective student tour) and I need some suggestions for the best places to eat lunch or dinner on campus. Thanks and Go Bucks!

Current OSU student here: There's not going to be too much open due to summer, but the two best ones open are the Union Market and Courtside Cafe at the RPAC. North Commons will also be open, but their food won't be the best.
It's true... We really are a bunch of nuts!
Go Bucks!
Thanks for the info!
Paying with money or is it comped? Catfish Biffs on 11th is above average pizza, amazing if you're drunk, and apparently it's closing if it's not already. If it's open, I highly recommend you eat there before it's too late.
Woody's Tavern in the Union, where I work, will be open as well, and if you want pizza or wings that's your best bet.
Courtside Cafe is a solid option for university food, but there's plenty of places on High Street to eat at that are good: Canes, Chipotle, Pot Belly's, Gooeyz, Mad Mex, Eddie George's, Pizza Rustica (best pizza).
buckeye donuts is amazing. breakfest sandwhich with tater tots is a fenominal breakfest/lunch. as for dinner, five guys is always good, as well as gooeyz or canes as always. adriaticos on 11th and neil is amazing as well
Apollo's on High, Gyro and fried mushrooms, perfect drunk food. Chicken Tenders and cheese fries from Kings, Buckeye Donuts, Penn Station.
Catfish should be closed for the summer by now. I always died a little bit in the summer knowing I wouldn't be able to get any Biff's for 3 months....
Adriattico's on 11th is a pretty good option for lunch, if a little heavy. Potbelly's is good too, although I think it's a bit pricey.

You have the classics on Lane, if you decide to have a drink or 10 go experience Buckeye Donuts on High, best drunk food on campus and good place to get coffee as well
Haha I don't think I'll be drinking this trip, but good to know nonetheless ;)
buckeye donuts is delicious sober as well
Pizza: hands down Adriatico's on 11th.
Subs: WG Grinder's on High.
Burgers: a bith further up on High into Clintonville (a left onto High at the intersection of High and Lane) is Graffiti Burger. Went there for the first time the weekend of the Spring Game; was blown away. Five Guys concept, but destroys Five Guys with the amount of toppings and customization.
@JFUNK, I heard last night that Catfish was closing for good, that's what I was referring to
grafitti burger is great, but their fries are terrible. if you go there, get the burger and a shake
oh yeah, easy living deli on lane over by west campus is AMAZING
RCBIRK: I went there for the first time because Thurman's was swamped. I was blown away; puts Five Guys to utter shame.
My choice for pizza is a bit down the road: Hounddogs pizza is primo, though everyone seems to say Adriatico's is better, I wholeheartedly disagree. If you're looking for a quick bite, check A Slice of New York: two slices of NY-style pie and a coke for $5. Five guys nets you solid burgers for the price (still a bit expensive, though), and Potbelly is my pick for subs. If you're looking for great fast food, check Raisin' Canes chicken fingers; fried chicken's all they sell, and they make it damn good. I've never understood Gooeyz, I think their grilled cheese is overpriced and overrated (I'll be the first to admit that I'm a grilled cheese snob, though, and make a damn good grilled cheese myself).
If you're looking to sit and eat, check Hang Over Easy on Neil, between 10th and 11th (south campus). They're the definition of "greasy spoon", their breakfast is fantastic (exceptional corned beef hash and biscuits and gravy), and their burgers and lunch options are solid, as well--not to mention, they have a full bar. I'll put it this way, before I moved out of Columbus last week, Hang Over Easy was my last meal in the city.
Well we chose Eddie Georges grill. I got a bacon burger and fries and its pretty good. They have a ton of TV screens with sports on too
Plaza Mexican Grill on 11th and High is amazing. Better burritos than Chipotle, and I think they're still $5 if you go before 4 PM. You can also add chorizo to your burrito for no additional cost. Sometimes they have buy one get one free burrito deals.
I wouldn't cheer for Michigan if they were playing the Taliban.
All these restaurants bring up so many memories...and make me realize there are no good restaurants anywhere near campus haha
I would suggest Midway (old Bento Go Go) on high and 13th. Most people dont know they have a pretty awesome lunch menu with Asian flavor to it. I might be biased since I drink there almost every weekend since its next door to my house. $2 landshark tall boys all the time cant be beat.
