You don't know what you're missing. London is fantastic and the ceremony was a great celebration of Britain... Though the first part was a tad slow. Also, what RDUBS said.
ehhh. came across as fools who did the same dance to each song, and didn't dance well. I say this in jest, because I really don't care one way or the other.
The Olympic ceremonies are always ridiculous. I found Beijing's to be the worst I have ever seen. The ceremonies for these Olympics weren't great either. I don't care for watching thousands of athletes just walk into a stadium while there's idiotic dancing going on, accompanied with mainly horrible music. I mean can we just get on to the actual sports part?
London is amazing! It is a beautiful city on the Thames river, I think you have no desire to be there because you haven't been there!(no disrespect) its a really fun time!
And forgot the ceremonies, who could top the fireworks display China put on that was pretty sweet. ( noticed last comment looked dickish not meant to be, go to London get day drunk and go sightseeing its pretty sweet!)
Nothing against London, I enjoyed visiting ages ago, but I hated the ceremony. China spent so much money, they wanted to be sure nobody could top them soon.
I thought it was pretty sweet. They had fun with it instead of trying to make it like the Chinese.
Love London!

Ha. I actually liked the opening ceremony, too. And, yeah, London is one hell of a town.
I really liked the Opening Ceremony. Most people I've talked to didn't care for it.
