Show Your Buckeye Swag, Man Cave, etc...

So Lately everytime I log on here, the forum is filled with just BS about where 16 year old kids are leaning, locks, etc. and also a lot of bickering amoungst one another. Kind of getting old... and I know I'm not alone with this thought.

So, I thought it might be cool to see everyone's buckeye pride.  This can be from a signed jersey, to an entire room filled with buckeye gear. snap a picture and tell everyone what makes it so special.

I chose 3 things.

My Diploma speaks for itself.

The game of the century picture was a christmas present from my parents.

The 6 (7) Heisman winners framed and matted, I won this in a silent auction in Myrtle Beach while living down there. Money went to fight prostate cancer, and its the first thing I'd ever won in a silent auction.

Nothing special but it is to me. This was right before he got drafted, it was an autograph session at Franklin Park Mall in Toledo.

My Buckeye shrine in the spare bedroom.   Pic is from my phone so its kinda crappy.

Lots of ticket stubs, field passes from last years Penn st game (damn them), my two Woody hats from when i was a kid, Sugar bowl* hat signed by Dane Sanzenbacher and Bryant Browning, Final Four hat from this year signed by Sully, 2010 B1G trnmt Champs hat, "Dont put me in coach" (go read it right now if you haven't) Game cups and programs from the 90's, up top is a pic w/ my Dad, Gordon Gee, Gene Smith and myself. I've since added a signed pic of sully from 2011.  Lots of other stuff in there that isnt all that impressive but means the world to me.

I know there's a game saturday, and my ass will be there.

This is my favorite piece of Ohio State memorobilia. A small, vintage lapel pin.

All diplomas aside, I'm pretty sure Scott wins. That's a cool-ass pin.

I like this thread, keep it going. I've got my guy coming to set up my 8' pool table in the basement, once completed my Buckeye shrine will come together.

I collect antiques and have a collection of leather helmets, and pads I plan on displaying with my collection.

I also have a bunch of old program prints I plan on framing.  Go to asgardpress.com and check out the vintage Ohio State callenders. Pretty cool stuff. I buy one every year.

My shrine is in my office at work. Displayed are my Troy Smith/Jim Tressel bobbleheads (sold as a pair Heisman winner with coach), my autographed picture of Archie posing with his 2 (did you guys know he is the only 2 time winner?) Heismans.  "To Pam, keep rooting for the Buckeyes #45 Archie Grifin", my framed note from JT along with the stub to the '08 UM game in the 'Shoe and a framed pic of me with coach Coop and Bruce.

I've posted these before but thought I'd share again.  There's a lot more stuff in the OSU room now that I've been in my house a few years.  And I made the beer pong table myself.

@PAM - I also have a signed Archie photo.  Never met the man, but one of my customers at my old job met him (he was signing a bike that her late husband had began work on, she managed to get someone to finish the bike and then raffle it off to benefit the James) and I joked with her that she should get me an autograph.  Well, sure as Hell, next time she came in she had a photo of Archie emblazoned with "To Hodge, go Bucks!" and his very own John Hancock.  Coolest thing ever.  I geeked.

@Hodge  I have had the honor of meeting Archie in person a few times. He goes on the Buckeye Cruise every year. He is as awesome as you can imagine

My favorite memorabilia is my grandfathers 1957 National championship ring as well as his two gold pants. Love them

Sorry Urban, Woody is still my favorite

I have been starting a collection, only renting right now and going back to grad school shortly, but I am buying anything and everything OSU from golfball markers to scarfs to sandals and flags and keeping my ticket stubs. Going to have a (hopefully) legit cave once I actually get a stable career after school and buy my first house. Promise pictures will be up, but nice seeing everyone elses tokens. Great idea

Unforunately most of my Ohio State gear is back stateside. I didn't trust the movers not to loose/destroy my collection when my wife and I came over to Germany, so my collection looks pretty pathetic right now.

I actually had a friend of mine ask me if this was real. She thought maybe the band was doing a show on Funk Music and that just happened to also be my last name.

Still one of the best pieces of my collection. My wife's the one actually serving but I don't mind receiving some of the praise.

Found this at Bed, Bath & Beyond when registering for our wedding. I recognized they were pictures from around campus but it took me a couple minutes to figure out what it was spelling.
