Wouldn't be surprised if he stays around based on what I just heard...take it FWIW, but source is solid....as of today, he may be sticking around longer than most want

IMO he's the recipient of a coat tail ride, riding the wave of Urban renewal. His staying on is a result of a pragmatic situation. He should get near zero credit for the hiring of UFM, he was a slam dunk from the moment he didn't perform the largest part of his job description in overseeing the compliance of the program.

I talked about this on another post, but he has done some amazing things for the OSU athletic department that he does deserve credit for. We have 4 winter sports teams ranked either in or just outside the top 10. Our athletes' average GPA is the highest it has ever been (at least since they started tracking it).
He clearly handled the public relations aspects of the tattoo scandal pretty poorly. But if you judge his overall performance one could argue that he is the best AD in the country. (of course with OSU's resources there is no reason not to have such a strong athletic department, but still it has flourished under his leadership)
