I'm hoping for a Milwaukee-Detroit WS...that will piss off the big media outlets the most. I can just imagine the gnawing of teeth going on on the East Coast now. Love those small market teams making a splash.

Yeah, I'm pulling for the Walking Wounded Tigers against anybody but St Louis. As a Reds fan I'm torn between excited that the NL central is reppin' hard and hating both the damn teams in there. I know I hate the RedBirds more. Hate them enough to kick them in the head with cleats aka Cueto level hate? No, probably not.

My absolute favorite sport is baseball and the Reds are my favorite team. Therefore, I'm in the ANYONE BUT THE CARDINALS boat. I HATE THE CARDINALS. They are always pissing and moaning about something. Baseballs aren't rubbed up with enough clay, there's shadows on the field, the Brewers are messing with the lights, that guy smiled when he struck out Pujols. I've never heard a grown bunch of men bitch so much in my life! Please, also could we quit hearing how much of a genius LaRussa is. OK Rant over about them.
I said coming into the playoffs that if the Brewers and Tigers lost, I wouldn't be too interested anymore. I like Leland, and well of the teams in the National League playoffs, I dislike the Brewers least. On the American league side, I didn't want an AL East team to win. I think ESPN is on the AL East bandwagon more than they are the SEC. The Rangers are alright, but I went to one of the World Series games last year in Arlington, and to be quite honest the most passionate fans in the stadium were the 30 giants fans who got the couple of rows behind us. The loudest the fans got at any point in the night were when George W Bush and his dad came out on a golf cart. It's not a political statement, it's just a statement that Texas fans weren't the most passionate group of baseball fans I've seen. Granted, they've never had a good team to pull for, so I'm sure they are coming around. I just didn't get the sense they were terribly upset when their team lost. I could be wrong. Anyway, I like Jimmy Leyland a lot. Justin Verlander is sick, and I like the team they have up there. I wouldn't mind seeing them pull it off. At this point though, either would be ok. Just as long as they can beat the freaking Cardinals.
Sorry, no. Baseball is such a painfully long and boring game that it can only be watched when one's hometown team is playing/contending. When said hometown team has already been eliminated (long, long ago), watching baseball is about the same as flushing your life down the toilet in 3-4 hour chunks. (Ok, maybe that's a little over the top. But just a little.)
Of course.
Go Rangers!!!!
vacuuming sucks
I always watch Baseball. Delman Young is a beast! I'm rooting for a Rangers - Cardinals WS. I think that would be a fun matchup.
-The Aristocrats!
162 game season and Delmon Young and Nelson Cruz are going to decide the American League champion.

As soon as the Yanks are eliminated, baseball season officially ends
If Denard Robinson isn't careful with spooning all that food into his mouth, he's going to end up lookin' like Whoopi Goldberg
As soon as the Yanks are eliminated I feel a great deal of pleasure.

Real fans stay for Carmen.
The Cards are pretty much the only team in my life these past 2 months that have managed to win any games. So let's go Cards!
As a Tribe fan, as long as the Yankees, Red Sox, and Tigers are all out, my season is complete.
