Ann Arbor Bank Refuses to Close on Columbus Day Because Columbus is in Ohio

Today is Columbus Day, and as such, a majority of American banks are closed. Some, like Seattle and South Dakota, don't celebrate Columbus Day, because Columbus didn't actually discover America and he was also a garbage human being (even by 1492 standards).

One bank in Ann Arbor, however, is also taking a similar stand, but for much less nobler reasons:

Funny indeed, but I have a feeling the bank just lost a bevy of business from Columbusites.
