What seemed like an inevitability a few months ago is now official – Lamar Jackson is the 2016 Heisman Trophy winner.

Jackson is the lone Heisman finalist that will not face the Buckeyes this season. The Buckeyes faced Oklahoma's Baker Mayfield and Dede Westbrook in September, Michigan's Jabrill Peppers in November and will face Deshaun Watson in the College Football Playoff Semifinal on New Year's Eve.

Watson was the runner up, with Mayfield, Westbrook and Peppers following him up in that order.

No Buckeyes finished in the top-10 of the voting.
