Washington outclassed Colorado to the tune of 41-10 in the Pac-12 conference championship game, likely earning a spot in the College Football Playoff along with a semifinal matchup against the Alabama Crimson Tide.

The Husky defense picked off Sefo Liufau three times in holding Colorado to nine 1st downs and 163 total yards while the Washington offense got 159 yards rushing from Myles Gaskin and another 101 rushing yards and a touchdown from Lavon Coleman.

Washington quarterback Jake Browning didn't look so hot himself connecting on just 9 of 24 throws for 118 yards although he did toss a pair of touchdown passes.

The win improved the Huskies to 12-1 marking the first time Washington has registered 12 wins since their 1991 national championship squad.

Not only did the win likely solidify Washington's spot in the CFP, it also dealt Michigan's backdoor hopes a severe blow. The Wolverines must now pray for a Virginia Tech upset of Clemson.
