Halloween! A traditional children's holiday that adults love to know as well. Each year, thousands dress up in costumes for reasons ranging from trick-or-treating with their children to poisoning themselves into a coma with alcohol.

Ohio State athletes and alums are no different then the rest of us! Below you will find the best efforts from current and former Buckeyes.

Former Ohio State and current Green Bay Packer center, Corey Linsley, and his wife, Anna, went as Dopey Dwarf and Snow White:

Ohio State center Pat Elflein, and his girlfriend, Emily Lachey, went as Cruella de Vil and one of her enslaved dalmatians

Former Ohio State right tackle (and everybody's favorite uncle) Darryl Baldwin went as a United States Olympic track gold medalist:

Former Ohio State defensive tackle Johnathan Hankins dressed up as a Minion:

Former national championship safety Dustin Fox went as everybody's favorite nightmare, Jason Voorhees:

Freddy Krueger? Jason Voorhees? Who's to say? I don't watch horror, folks.

(Disclaimer: That's Jason Voorhees, right? I don't watch horror—my own life provides enough.)

Legendary golfer Jack Nicklaus took to Twitter to prove he too dressed up once upon a time:

Pat Elflein double-dipped as a meth-dealing biker(?) to terrify trick or treaters:

The women's volley ball team got into the act with everything from a terrifying orange to a Space Jam Tune Squad member:
