R.I.P. to the Alabama dynasty. You might have thought it got bulldozed in New Orleans earlier this year, but this is not so.

From Al.com:

Not since the 2009's SEC title game has No. 13 Alabama been the underdog in a football game, but that will end Saturday. The opening line for the Crimson Tide's trip to No. 8 Georgia has Alabama a 2-point underdog, according to VegasInsider.com. Covers.com has Georgia a 1.5-point favorite while Oddshark.com has it even.

That ends the 72-game run in which Alabama was favored by at least 2.5 points. The streak dated back to the day it beat Florida 32-12 after being a 4.5-point underdog to Tim Tebow and Urban Meyer.

When they fire Saban for this on Monday... there's only one man who can restore Alabama to greatness: Joey Freshwater.
