In an exciting, back and forth game, it ultimately looked like the Huskers had their season home opener against BYU wrapped up in a neat little bow. The Cougars attempted two nonsensical short yardage passes to the sideline, leaving them only one second with which to do something stupid.

This sucks for Mike Riley, who is a good guy, but given how Penn State performed today, it's hardly the most embarrassing loss that anyone has suffered. Still: KNOCK. THE. BALL. DOWN.
