Video: Appalachian State Wants You To Remember That It Dumped Michigan in the Big House

On Sept. 1, 2007, I was a dipshit college sophomore at the University of Montana. Thanks to a new-fangled invention, the Big Ten Network, I was able to watch non-nationally televised Big Ten games.

I remember watching Michigan struggle against a then-D1-AA powerhouse Appalachian State but opting out when it came time to attend a season-opening Southern Utah-Montana banger. Frankly, I had little interest in watching No. 5 Michigan escape a historic upset, a result I felt was inevitable.

Montana went onto win 37-17, but I will forever regret not staying to watch that game finish out.

Thankfully, Appalachian State released this motivational video. If you like images of sad and broken Michigan Men, well, just go ahead and hit play. You won't regret it.

Sadly, despite the video winning a SAVVY Award at last week’s College Sports Video Association conference, the video did not result in another upset during the two schools' 2014 rematch.
