Welp, today just might not be the Hokies' day.

C.J. Reavis, a potential Virginia Tech starting safety and a guy Ohio State liked two years ago, is no longer enrolled at the school according to a report out of Virginia.

From Cameron Austin and Andy Bitter of Roaknoke.com:

BLACKSBURG — Virginia Tech potential defensive starter C.J. Reavis is no longer enrolled at the university after the result of a student conduct hearing yesterday.

[...]

Reavis’ attorney, Jimmy Turk, was present with him during the proceedings.

"Without discussing the details, there is an appeal process that we are going through at this point," Turk said. "I expect that process to maybe exhaust itself over the next week to 10 days."

While it's unclear what Reavis did to violate the student conduct code, this is all bad news for a team that opens up with the defending national champions in a mere 58(!!!!!!) days.
