The latest to hit a shrug following a big play is Jake Kumerow, son of Ohio State legend Eric Kumerow and cousin to Buckeye All-American Joey Bosa.
Kumerow, a 6-foot-5 wide receiver for Division III power Wisconsin Whitewater – and veritable mountain main – hauled in a pretty one-handed catch in the first quarter of his team's national championship game Friday night against Mount Union. As he turned to run back to the huddle, he honored his cousin with the ¯\_(ツ)_/¯:
Kumerow, a junior, would go on to record 8 catches for 130 yards and a touchdown in the Warhawks' 43–34 win over the Purple Raiders.
