If Jimbo Fisher's track record on discipline is weighed objectively, one could deduce Markuss Eligwe might have killed a man. The odious/ubiquitous "violation of team rules" was the official reason listed, but it has to be murder right?

From Wayne McGahee of FloridaState.Scout.com:

Florida State linebacker Markuss Eligwe has been kicked off the team for a violation of team rules. The redshirt sophomore has missed most of the 2014 season with a Lisfranc foot injury, but was regarded as one of the top linebackers on the team during spring practice. Eligwe, Reggie Northrup, and E.J. Levenberry were competing for the starting linebacker spot opposite Terrance Smith. He had 27 tackles and two sacks during the 2013 season.

Or yeah, a Lisfranc injury coupled with a few rehab breakdowns could do it too. (Jimbo Fisher is definitely leaving for the NFL after this year, right?)
