Charlie Strong promised a swift exit for anybody not buying into his program's values, and it appears he wasn't kidding.

Two days ago at Big 12 media days, Strong said running back Joe Burgeron was "back in the mix" for playing time. Today, it's being reported he has been dismissed from the Longhorns. He'd be the seventh player dismissed from Texas football since Strong arrived in Austin.

Running back Jalen Overstreet and safety Chvoski Collins were the fifth and sixth players dismissed. Their violations were the ominously opaque "violation of team rules."

Wide receivers Kendall Sanders and Montrel Meander were dismissed for a violation of Texas law, as the junior and redshirt freshman were charged with felonious sexual assault.

Fullback Chet Moss and cornerback Leroy Scott washed out in the spring.

So if any other Longhorns aren't feeling the vibes of their new coach, the exits are marked clearly.
