These are the Zubaz-Inspired Adidas Uniforms Michigan Opted Out Of

When Adidas announced new Zubaz-inspired uniforms for conference tournament play, Buckeye fans were crestfallen to learn Michigan would not be wearing the adizero uniform system that six other schools would don to the anguish of their fans and alumni.
Fear not, good people. While the Wolverines will not wear the uniforms in the Big Ten Tournament, an Adidas ad featuring the monstrosities is in the wild.
We'll reluctantly admit that the uniforms are not as bad as what Notre Dame, Cincinnati or UCLA will rock, but they're still plenty terrible. It's basically their current banana suit with sleeves and dark blue accents.

I can't even look at the scUM version because the UCLA jerseys forced me to stab my eyes...
Maybe this is the real reason why UCLA alum Ed O'Bannon is suing to keep the NCAA from profiting off the likenesses of college athletes - to save current UCLA bball players from future embarrassment.
certainly is plausible, that is for sure.
Not bad. Better than the Highlighter Yellow they have now.

Please; at least in the college uniform section.

These would look right on one team: the Army Black Knights.

The UC version is waaaaay better than that UM version. ND version is the worst, but, my gosh, they are all so ugly. If I were forced at gun point to pick one to wear it would be the UC version. The rest would fall in somewhere between that and last choice ND version.
Do they get slap bracelets and tamigachi pets in their swag bags too?
If Denard Robinson isn't careful with spooning all that food into his mouth, he's going to end up lookin' like Whoopi Goldberg
And a pair of stone washed jeans with a cassette of Ice Ice Baby.
Nothing like dancing on the field in 02...
How are these worse than the electric banana uni's that they wear now?..These don't have the same "I've burnt my retina's so bad I can't see" effect to them
Battles are sometimes won by generals; wars are nearly always won by sergeants and privates. Football is no different, the guys down in the trenches win the games, not the coach.
Those UC jerseys looked god awful today, just terrible.
UC went from having some of the best uniforms in college basketball (the Jordan line they wore during the Huggins years) to the current adidas junk that doesn't even represent their actual school colors. The Providence uniforms today were 1000x better than the UC uniforms.
The schools that wear adidas exclusively are an absolute joke to me. Especially traditional powers such as Notre Dame, Michigan, and UCLA. If you're relevant in collegiate athletics, you should know better than to enter into an agreement where you continually wear gimmick uniforms. I guess Ohio State is guilty of this as well with the Pro Combat jerseys, but at least that is only once per season and the uniforms are at least semi-acceptable.
I'd be pretty ashamed if I were a ND or M fan with some of the stuff my school was wearing during games. And that doesn't even factor in that all of the gear the coaches/staff wear from adidas is exactly the same font/same style, just in different colors.
Agreed, Providence has always had some decent unis. The most disappointing team though to wear these is Ucla they are a serious traditional power that has no business even being associated with this garbage. Also I think that Pro Combat is different because at least it's Nike. I mean Nike at least makes their stuff look halfway decent, I mean the jerseys that Cincy was wearing made me turn the game off. A game that I was enjoying.
The UC ones weren't bad, but the red looked almost orange on TV..............Those SCUM uniforms look better than their highlighter yellow ones!

Good gravy these are ugly!
Go home, Adidas, you're
drunkstoned. Our "bleed-out" uniforms were totally another adidas idea.
Actually, the ones that adidas did for Nebraska were the same thing, just change the color. I recall seeing the Nebraska bleed-outs and thinking they were worse than ours. But I don't recall seeing the Wisconsin bleed-outs; if this picture is correct, they'd have been some of the nicest uniforms that Ohio State could have worn. Don't you guys own scarlet-and-gray?!?
I seem to recall a story that Indiana refused these bleed-out bad boys, much like Michigan refused the tournament-season Zubaz creations:
I tried watching the Indiana-Michigan game the other day, but it turned out to be impossible. The Michigan uniforms blinded me every time I looked at the T.V. This version doesn't seem that bad.
"Do not dwell in the past, do not dream of the future, concentrate the mind on the present moment."
What baffles me is that someone at Adidas actually thought these unis were a good idea and approved them for production! That person needs to be fired promptly. I can't believe teams are actually wearing these things. ND looked ridiculous last night! After all the negative comments from the media, you would think Adidas would pull these things and replace them with, oh, I don't know, regular non-hideous unis!
Any publicity is good publicity, amirite???
