Trio of Buckeyes Honored by Big Ten

Ohio State senior guard Tayler Hill was voted First Team Al-Big Ten by the coaches and media for a second consecutive season, the conference announced today. Hill is the Buckeyes' leading scorer, averaging 20.9 points per game, along with 4.5 rebounds. Hill was also selected to the All-Defensive team for a third straight season. 

Senior guard Amber Stokes joined Hill on the team. Stokes was the Big Ten's defensive player of the year in 2012.

Freshman guard Ameryst Alston was voted to the All-Freshman team. Alston was also named the conference's freshman of the week. In wins over Illinois and Michigan, she averaged 10 points, five rebounds, two steals and 1.5 assists.
