The kid seems to have some issues. I am kind of glad he didnt come to tOSU. I have a feeling when hes not playing as a Freshman his dad will be calling Muschamp like a little league parent.

Just watched a pretty cool documentary on the nWo. Pretty cool stuff. Bischoff basically knew he had something with Hall and Nash but didn't exactly know what to do with it, then the idea of turning Hogan heel was a stroke of genius. I didn't see it at the time because I was a teenage fan but the idea was that the nWo would blur the lines between soap opera wrestling and gangland reality. It was the gang feel they were going for and before it got just so over the top, it was pretty cool. Definatley a breath of fresh air into the otherwise stale southern style WCW scene.

Breaking news story: Sal Anzalone, errrrr . . . Alex Anzalone explains why he changed his mind again:

Brian Kelly's interview with the Eagles was enough to spook Anzalone, who already had experienced some regret about his early college decision, his father said.

"You would think that these NFL executives would be kept at a distance away from college coaches," Sal Anzalone said. "The fact that they played footsie with our would-be college coach was the issue. Keep people like this away from them. I can't be everywhere."

Sal Anzalone urged his son to decommit after word began to spread about the Eagles. He was also concerned to find out that Kelly is a raving lunatic who angrily berates his players.

"Separate yourself," Sal Anzalone said, "because you don't want the NCAA thinking that you're being coached by this jerk."

The elder Anzalone said he held nothing against Notre Dame offensive line coach Harry Hiestand, who recruited the player.

"Notre Dame had no idea that their coach is a slut," Sal Anzalone said. "They were totally unaware. Let's make that very clear. That's not Notre Dame."

"But Alex was creeped out by him and his mercenary ways and his screaming, red-faced antics. He thought something was wrong. Alex wasn't going to get hurt. Alex could knock him out. But the point is, this creep shouldn't be near recruits."

His father said he might even still consider the Irish.

"It's a possibility," Sal Anzalone said. "Things change. You can't hold them responsible for other people's behavior."

No matter the school, Alex Anzalone may have to stay in touch with his dad during all recruiting visits as a result of this situation.

"I want to know where he's going and what he's doing," Sal Anzalone said. "I want to be in contact with him."

Guess Brian Kelly or some person from Notre Dame must've gotten photographed with someone who had been arrested for something completely unrelated to the coach, the program, or the university. Something is just not right at Notre Dame, eh, Alex?

This drama queen would've brought us nothing but headaches. Glad he never became a Buckeye. Have fun with that diva, Coach Muschamp. Judging by the class the Gators showed in the Sugar Bowl you guys deserve each other.

Im glad ND lost him and its a little comical (i had thought he was enrolling early at ND), But lets take it easy on the namecalling; he is a 17-18 year old kid. I couldnt commit to anything when i was that age!

It also sounds like sour grapes when we say we are better off with the LBs we got. Im happy with Mitchell and Johnson, and we may, in fact, be better off, but we would have been very happy with Anzalone. What if he was flipping for the Buckeyes? would we say class if full? would we say he is too flakey? I realize its a fine line- but its the kind of thing you see on a lot of Michigan sites every time they lose a recruit (e.g., we didnt want him any way). Just looks bad.

I just wish him luck.

Now, if only Jaylon Smith would decommit!

It sounds like the kid needs to decommit from his father. Hopefully Florida is far enough away from Sal that he can become his own man. He might want to keep driving past Gainesville so he can to THE U. That way he can leave there and go to FIU and even FAU. By that time he can enter the NFL draft

I know he's only 17-18 and maybe Doctor Dad is pulling the strings, but what a diva situation this is. Good chance he transfers at least once in college if things don't go Dad's , err, Alex's way.
