Notre Dame just got Kiel'd.
Looks like daddy Sal got what he wanted.
I thought his father wanted him to go to ND. Am I wrong on that one?
"Outside of a dog, a book is a man's best friend. Inside of a dog it's too dark to read." - Groucho Marx
"The possible recipient of Oyster's ONLY down vote".
Florida from the start.
Great talent... but I'm glad we didn't end up with a kid (or dad) that plays games like this.
There is still time for Alex Anzalone to decommit from Florida and then verbal to Bama or USC.
This just made me LOL
Not here to troll...Go Blue
The kid seems to have some issues. I am kind of glad he didnt come to tOSU. I have a feeling when hes not playing as a Freshman his dad will be calling Muschamp like a little league parent.
I'm a friend of thunder is it any wonder lightning strikes me
What is with this kid? I'm glad he left. Good luck at whatever school he commits to after decommitting from the school he committed to after decommitting from Florida.
Class of 2010.
He then commits to tOSU in a signing day twist.
"YOLO" = I'm about to do something extremely ignorant/stupid & I need an excuse to do it.
+1 for the Vince Russo reference. Do I watch too much wrestling if I get that reference?
You can NEVER watch too much wrestling

If this were 1996-03, absolutely not. Now? I can't make it through 5 minutes without rolling my eyes.
Did they really turn my AJ into a heel?
AJ will always be welcome on my face.....I mean she will always be welcomed as a face
But seriously, she's mine. :/
How do you plan on getting sloppy seconds? I never plan on giving her up. lol
this happens to be my favorite aj lee gif not because of the crap she was doing, but more of the guy in green being in the right place at the right time
Just watched a pretty cool documentary on the nWo. Pretty cool stuff. Bischoff basically knew he had something with Hall and Nash but didn't exactly know what to do with it, then the idea of turning Hogan heel was a stroke of genius. I didn't see it at the time because I was a teenage fan but the idea was that the nWo would blur the lines between soap opera wrestling and gangland reality. It was the gang feel they were going for and before it got just so over the top, it was pretty cool. Definatley a breath of fresh air into the otherwise stale southern style WCW scene.
Do I come off as arrogant? Shame on me, I was hoping it would be more obvious.
The whole Ohio State picture was a work. He was acting like a face but knew he would get jobbed out if he went to tOSU. So he turns heel on ND and joins the OBNOXIUOS WORLD ORDER aka University of Florida.
Alex Flanagan, the first thing you need to do is to tell THESE people to SHUT UP if you wanna hear what I got to say!
Well lemme tell you something...I made that State a monster...I made the people rich up there...and when it all came to pass, the name Alex Anzalone, the man Alex Anzalone, got bigger than the whole State, brother. And then Will Muschamp, he wanted to talk turkey with Alex Anzalone, amigo. Well, you know, Will promised me movies, brother, Will Muschamp promised me millions of dollars, Will Muschamp promised me world calibar Women! Well, as far as Will Muschamp goes, Brian Kelly and the whole SEC goes, I'm bored, brother. That's why Alex Anzalone went to Florida, the so called Gators, are the men that I want as my friends, they're the new blood of Football, and not only are we gonna take over the Football business with Alex Anzalone and Daddy, the Gators with me, we wil destroy everything in our path, Mean Gene.
As far as I'm concerned, all this crap in the ring represents these Doomer fans out here. For two years, brother, for two years I held my head high, I did everything for the charities, I did everything for the kids, and the reception I got when I came out here, you Domer fans can STICK IT, brother, because if it wasn't for Alex Anzalone you people wouldn't be here, if it wasn't for Alex Anzalone, Brian Kelly would still be selling meat from a truck in Michigan. If it wasn't for Alex Anzalone, all thse Johnny come lately's you see in Football wouldn't be here. I was selling the world, brother, while they were bumming gas to put in their car to get to high school. So the way it is, with Alex Anzalone and the OBNOXIUOS WORLD ORDER of Football, brother, and Daddy by my side, whatcha gonna do when the OBNOXIUOS WORLD ORDER runs wild on you? WHATCHA GONNA DO?
Mike Mayock: All right, we have seen the end of Notre Dame Football. For Brian the Brain Kelly, for Brad Nessler...I don't know. I'm Mike Mayock. Alex Anzalone, you can go to hell. We're outta here. Straight to hell
Everything about these last few commments has been awesomeeeee..... The #RussoSwerve, Dr. House's post of Anzalone/Hogan BROTHER.
Reminds me of the time the Hulkster body slammed the 85,506 pound Andre The Giant in front of 3,475,386 scremaing Hulkamaniacs at the Pontiac Silverdome.
Help is on the way.
dont want him
This was Alex's mystery flip all long!
"Can we please stop the message board fighting? I really can't stand the message board fighting..."
"No. You're an idiot, and your posts are terrible."
He's as pre commit mobile as Duron Carter is post commit mobile.
To err is human. Really sucking requires having yellow stripes on your helmet.
there is a difference between a kid having a change of heart and someone just being fickle.

if its anything like Rudy. I would be there opening night
Kid is a kook.
Wow. Great talent, but this kid is a headache. Would love to have him at OSU were it not for his gonzo dad.
Anal-zone at it again!
"Anything less than flagrant is just playing grab ass!"
It's not the kid, it's the dad folks. I think it's hilarious that he's jumping ship on Notre Dame.
Dear God that's unsettling.
How many times can he do that without having a stroke?
Good talent, but way too much of a flake. If you make a commitment stick with it or don't make one at all.
Completely echo this sentiment.
Mike Mitchell looks better anyway. Glad we got him instead.
Breaking news story: Sal Anzalone, errrrr . . . Alex Anzalone explains why he changed his mind again:
Brian Kelly's interview with the Eagles was enough to spook Anzalone, who already had experienced some regret about his early college decision, his father said.
"You would think that these NFL executives would be kept at a distance away from college coaches," Sal Anzalone said. "The fact that they played footsie with our would-be college coach was the issue. Keep people like this away from them. I can't be everywhere."
Sal Anzalone urged his son to decommit after word began to spread about the Eagles. He was also concerned to find out that Kelly is a raving lunatic who angrily berates his players.
"Separate yourself," Sal Anzalone said, "because you don't want the NCAA thinking that you're being coached by this jerk."
The elder Anzalone said he held nothing against Notre Dame offensive line coach Harry Hiestand, who recruited the player.
"Notre Dame had no idea that their coach is a slut," Sal Anzalone said. "They were totally unaware. Let's make that very clear. That's not Notre Dame."
"But Alex was creeped out by him and his mercenary ways and his screaming, red-faced antics. He thought something was wrong. Alex wasn't going to get hurt. Alex could knock him out. But the point is, this creep shouldn't be near recruits."
His father said he might even still consider the Irish.
"It's a possibility," Sal Anzalone said. "Things change. You can't hold them responsible for other people's behavior."
No matter the school, Alex Anzalone may have to stay in touch with his dad during all recruiting visits as a result of this situation.
"I want to know where he's going and what he's doing," Sal Anzalone said. "I want to be in contact with him."
Hah, I have no idea if that's a real excerpt of an article or not, but I'll believe it.
Believe that is altered just slightly from when Daddy-o spouted off about Alex's Ohio State decommittment. Just FYI.
Well played RFR.
I don't get all riled up about recruiting like a lot of people do, but just like Seantrel "Rap Game" Henderson...glad we missed out on this kid
Dad's a kook too. Whole family is probably kooked up.
Guess Brian Kelly or some person from Notre Dame must've gotten photographed with someone who had been arrested for something completely unrelated to the coach, the program, or the university. Something is just not right at Notre Dame, eh, Alex?
This drama queen would've brought us nothing but headaches. Glad he never became a Buckeye. Have fun with that diva, Coach Muschamp. Judging by the class the Gators showed in the Sugar Bowl you guys deserve each other.
"Sherman ran an option play right through the south" - Greatest Civil War analogy EVER.
Im glad ND lost him and its a little comical (i had thought he was enrolling early at ND), But lets take it easy on the namecalling; he is a 17-18 year old kid. I couldnt commit to anything when i was that age!
It also sounds like sour grapes when we say we are better off with the LBs we got. Im happy with Mitchell and Johnson, and we may, in fact, be better off, but we would have been very happy with Anzalone. What if he was flipping for the Buckeyes? would we say class if full? would we say he is too flakey? I realize its a fine line- but its the kind of thing you see on a lot of Michigan sites every time they lose a recruit (e.g., we didnt want him any way). Just looks bad.
I just wish him luck.
Now, if only Jaylon Smith would decommit!
Re: committing to anything at that age, two words:
One...Ah.Ah.Ah. Two...Ah.Ah.Ah. Three...Ah.Ah.Ah. Three Commitments...
Who in the world would downvote this comedy gold?!?!?!
I would guess salty ND fans, but they probably can't vote. So your guess is as good as mine. That was great.
what in the world is with this kid
Dodged. A. Bullet!
I'm hiding baby and I'm dreaming
I'm riding down your moonlight mile
Y'know, after the first decommitment, I was all upset.
After the second decommitment, I'm all like:
he wont last at florida either. 1st time hes burried on depth chart daddy will be upset and it will be off to some d2 school close to home like yougstown state and then daddy will be bugging the scouting services for nfl to come see him. kids a coward. man up its your life daddy sal wont be around for ever. grow a pair.
I dont know karate but i do know crazy and i'm not afraid to use it.
wow 4 down votes. this kid does need to grow a pair. its his life. but i bet your the same hypochrites that were all over the boren boys all coming to O state. their parents stood by their boys despite the fact both parents graduated from mich.
I feel sorry for him it seems like he wanted to go anywhere but Florida but daddy wouldn't have it. Nothing like a father wedging himself up his kids ass
Wherever you are, there you be!
Having been to Gainesville. It sucks. It's not close to the beach it's not close to Disney. Its in the middle of the damn state. You are in Florida without the fun of being in Florida I can see why he'd want to anywhere but Florida
The girls ain't bad though. Nothing close to Buckeye girls, but still nothing to sneeze at.
Man, as indecisive as this kid is, can you imagine being his waiter in a restaurant?
Nice Curb reference! Those arabs know how to make chicken!!
yea, Lol'ed at this...... I needed a good laugh after my Chinese Employer just retroactively deducted my pay, being directly in violation of PA state labor laws.... HELLO LAWSUIT!!!!
You can feed a bobcat all the chili it wants. That don't mean it's going to crap out diamonds.
Rough week for ND fans. I like to imagine the reaction being something like this:
"I can accept failure, but I can't accept not trying." -Woody Hayes
WTF is THAT?^^^^^^^LOL!
its from community one of the greatest shows on network tv #sixseasonsandamovie
What a flake. Looks like we dodged a bullet with this kid. Good luck, UF!
Between ND's hell week, and AJ's girl, and mom, 11w has been really entertaining.
And the week's not over! Big recruiting weekend = potential gray box(es)!
this and the aj mom thread have been threads that keep on giving
It sounds like the kid needs to decommit from his father. Hopefully Florida is far enough away from Sal that he can become his own man. He might want to keep driving past Gainesville so he can to THE U. That way he can leave there and go to FIU and even FAU. By that time he can enter the NFL draft
I must admit, I'm sick of seeing their names...
Nobody should ever hate on a recruit for switching, this is his life. Besides I hate Notre Dame way more than Florida.
Anzalone's foot gear of choice ....... at least it was.......... still is............ maybe..........
wow what a douche nugget glad we don't have him n got tj m mitchell instead. His dad will be an issue. Have a feeling he ends up washing out to a small school
stark county football
I wonder in my musings, what this thread would be like, had he chosen us instead of FL ?
He is still an elite LB prospect, regardless of his families influence in his commitment(s).
~Because we couldn't go for three~
I got slammed by someone when I made the comment about his "stage dad" when the Eric Waugh situation happened. Just goes to show, when your parents don't want you to go somewhere, you ain't going...
It takes a lot for me to go against my longstanding policy of not ripping a recruit simply because he decided not to become a Buckeye. Needless to say, Anzalone and his dad have not made me regret my harsh words.
The diva is your problem now, Muschamp.
The most "loud mouth, disrespect" poster on 11W.
I know he's only 17-18 and maybe Doctor Dad is pulling the strings, but what a diva situation this is. Good chance he transfers at least once in college if things don't go Dad's , err, Alex's way.
im actually starting to feel bad for the kid... his dad is ridiculous but finally got what he wanted
mark may wins douchebag of the year... again
It looks like Alex is the butt of this joke. Too bad, there's always next year!
Who wants a kid that does something like that. Not me! Florida can have him.
