Adreian Payne had a great game (18 points, 9 rebounds) and Gary Harris led the Spartans with 21 points (including 5/10 from beyond the arc). However, Victor Oladipo's big game ruled the day. Oladipo had 21 points off 8/12 shooting and grabbed seven rebounds. It was enough to offset a somewhat quiet day from Cody Zeller, who had 9 points on 2/7 shooting to go with 7 rebounds.
A Michigan win at Illinois this evening could put IU and Michigan in a tie for top of the league as we approach February. Ohio State is trying to keep pace with the Hoosiers, Wolverines, and Spartans in a quest to repeat as B1G TEN champions.
