He saw a black guy on his TV memorializing murdered 6 year olds that he wanted off pronto, so he could in turn, watch a whole bunch of other black guys playing a game with a ball.

Just to defend my downvotes as a way of possibly explaining the others - I'm not downvoting your view that Jamie Foxx is a racist; it's possible, and I don't have enough information about the guy to make a conclusion one way or another. I just don't want the 11W boards to turn into a fight over racism, and I'm concerned that's where the thread of comments was going.

Twitter is a really cool thing because it allows anyone to express themselves, tell everyone what's on their mind, share information, tell jokes, and etc.

Pretty sure receiving downvotes for acknowledging downvotes is a violation of the giving up/downvotes policy. Nothing in my post about that racist former football player being a walk-on violated any of the commenting rules. I will address this with upper management.

you are correct Pam, however a downvote typically means that another poster disagrees with what was said, or may have an agenda against certain posters and always downvote them.

But some of us ( I know I do ) will upvote to counteract foolish downvotes, that I see as unwarrented.

As an African-American, I'm actually MORE OFFENDED that this POS seemed to just ignore the tragedy affiliated with the President's TV time vs. his language choice. This wasn't some sort of political/campaign speech... it was paying respect to the lives of innocent victims of an obviously damaged individual. Maybe now that this individual has some additional time on his hands, he'll turn on the news and get a clue about real life and not TwitterVerse.
