He actually posted it....

"YOLO" = I'm about to do something extremely ignorant/stupid & I need an excuse to do it.

News story from Alabama about the incident. From the comments: "He just said what everyone was thinking."

He saw a black guy on his TV memorializing murdered 6 year olds that he wanted off pronto, so he could in turn, watch a whole bunch of other black guys playing a game with a ball.

I think you win "best comment" for this one.

It seems to workout well for Jamie Foxx.

buckeyedude's picture

And Chris Rock and his cracker jokes.

Pam's picture

Has Jamie Foxx ever refered to the POTUS as the "N" word?

UrbanWoodrowEarlTressel's picture

exactly - Jamie Foxx is a P.O.S.
but, you're forgetting - it's only racist when it's white-on-black, not black-on-white ---- that's a free pass in society

Denny's picture

Jamie Foxx works out?

No idea how I missed LouGroza comment up there. Great minds and all. Downvotes deserved.

deleted - not worth it.

Read my entire screen name....

gwalther's picture

Unsure what thoughts you may have wanted to convey here. Been in your shoes though, and if you ended on the "deleted - not worth it," then it was probably a good call.

So he wanted the half African-American President taken off of TV to watch a game where many of the players are 100% African-American.  OK dude.
Football career and free education down the drain, kid, I hope it was worth it.
Edit:  Didn't know he was a walk on.  Wonder if he gets kicked out of school.

You don't get kicked out of school for being an asshole....

SilverBullet33's picture

Good thing too, I wouldn't have graduated.

Funny how some get a pass that are not only racist (view life through a race filter) but are bigots. Yet not a peep, and down votes for pointing it out.

Dean's picture

Just to defend my downvotes as a way of possibly explaining the others - I'm not downvoting your view that Jamie Foxx is a racist; it's possible, and I don't have enough information about the guy to make a conclusion one way or another.  I just don't want the 11W boards to turn into a fight over racism, and I'm concerned that's where the thread of comments was going.

Twitter is a really cool thing because it allows anyone to express themselves, tell everyone what's on their mind, share information, tell jokes, and etc.
But for all the same reasons, twitter can be a complete disaster.

BuckeyeVet's picture

Serious stupidity going on with that guy. Glad he was kicked off the team. Hope he lost a scholarship too. Some people have to learn the hard way.

Pam's picture

Ok a downvote for making a factual statement? Ridiculous

edit: TWO downvotes for making a factual statement. Still ridiculous

CincyOSU's picture

Pam - It appears you also have a few "fans" who downvote everything you write regardless of what it is.

Pam's picture

I hope whoever does this knows that the staff of 11W can see your votes. Two many downvotes can result in a warning and a possible banhammer.

CincyOSU's picture

See what I mean...already more downvotes.

Denny's picture

Pretty sure by acknowledging downvotes one is certain to receive downvotes.

Taquitos.

Pam's picture

Pretty sure receiving downvotes for acknowledging downvotes is a violation of the giving up/downvotes policy. Nothing in my post about that racist former football player being a walk-on violated any of the commenting rules. I will address this with upper management.

Dean's picture

Could you link to the up/downvotes policy?  Thanks!

Edit: removed a sentence that made this comment sound sarcastic.  It's not.

jestertcf's picture

you are correct Pam, however a downvote typically means that another poster disagrees with what was said, or may have an agenda against certain posters and always downvote them.
But some of us ( I know I do ) will upvote to counteract foolish downvotes, that I see as unwarrented.

As an African-American, I'm actually MORE OFFENDED that this POS seemed to just ignore the tragedy affiliated with the President's TV time vs. his language choice.  This wasn't some sort of political/campaign speech... it was paying respect to the lives of innocent victims of an obviously damaged individual.  Maybe now that this individual has some additional time on his hands, he'll turn on the news and get a clue about real life and not TwitterVerse.
