As much as Big Hank's leaving hurts, if he can get drafted in the top 10, that'll be tremendously helpful to OSU recruiting when it comes to DL (especially DTs) in the future. Not that Urban or Vrabel are currently having any trouble haha. But the ability to say "we just had a DT drafted 5th overall" is huge. Gives us the same sort of leverage with DL recruits that Saban has when he can tell someone like Vonn Bell "I just had a Safety drafted (Mark Barron) #7 overall."

I don't how the Browns would take an OG in Warmack with Jarvis Jones and Manti Te'o on the draft board. However, this is a early mock draft.

To be honest, I would draft a beast of a Guard like Warmack over Te'o. Shore up that line and go after a LB in the next round. The guy has good footwork and a mean streak in him.

It's way too early for a mock draft but there is no way the Browns draft an OG with their 1st round pick, especially without having their 2nd round pick because they used it for Josh Gordon in supplemental draft.  The Browns will go OLB, DE or CB with their top pick this year to add a pass rusher or another shut down guy opposite Haden.

Really it depends on who the coach and GM are. I would think with the current two, they would go with the Warmack. He seems to be a sure thing to me seeing that they seem to want to transition to a power rushing game. Besides, this is a LB rich draft, so there should be some good options left over in the 3rd round and later.

But at the same time, it really depends on what the new owner wants to do, or if he brings in new brass, what they want to do. Personally, I would go with the OG and go from there.

Obviously we are speculating but offensive line is one of the Browns best units and currently LB is one of the weakest.  I have a hard time thinking they use a 1st round pick on a OG when they have used 1st rounders at LT and C, a high 2nd rounder at RT, and a 3rd rounder at G.  Offensive line seems like the least likely pick to me but I agree Warmack is a beast up front.  Plus Sheard hasn't been able to get to the QB as much this year so another DE that can get after the QB is needed.  With a draft class stacked at the top with prime time talent at both positions (LB and DE) I would have to think that's the direction they go.  Also with the need for CB to replace Sheldon Brown I could see them taking a look at Milliner from Bama in the top 15.

A trade down could be possible to pick up a 2nd rounder but with new ownership in place I think they probably don't want to start with moving backwards rather than trying to get a Pro Bowl type of talent in the top 10 if that's where they end up picking.

But they'll probably trade down to get a later 1st round and pick up a 2nd rounder depending on where they are in the draft order. If they are sitting at 5-8 and drafting in the top 10, they'll probably trade.

After the combine I'm sure it will change a good amount. Sometimes I think too much stock is put into the combine.
