I believe Duron may be one of those kids who is truly gifted on the football field but doesn't have it in him to be successful in the classroom. When he was at tOSU I read on another site that he was identified with a learning disability when he was a little kid. Despite being given extra tutoring and study table help he just couldn't handle the schoolwork. He probably should have went straight to the CFL after flunking out at tOSU. I hope he gets a chance at the next level, although it sounds like he may need to line up next to someone who will tell him what route to run on every play in order to be successful.
It's very possible this is correct, though Carter's work habits (both in and out of the classroom) can failrly be called into question, and that will almost certainly keep him from being drafted. It's too bad, because he really could have helped the Buckeyes these last 2 years.
If it was all about learning problems, that would be one thing. But he got kicked out of Bama's program for being a lazy douche, which is the same thing he showed at OSU, and if I had to guess, I assume he wasn't taking his time at FAU very seriously either.
Don't think anyone is celebrating, but if a spoiled, priveleged, incredible athlete who has daddy to vouch for him and pave his way wherever he goes can't be bothered to work hard or get good grades, excuse me if I'm not drowning in tears for the kid.
Frank Gore made it through college with a learning disability and I'm sure there are many more success stories just like his. Duron deserves everything he has worked so hard to achieve...very little to nothing.

He's well-traveled at least.
Lol, what a coddled spoiled brat.
He sucks at pick up basketball too btw.
Is pick up basketball different from normal basketball?
yes, unless you're the type to try and draw charges on a black top outside...or call 3 in the key.
Haha i was just wondering if just sucks at basketball, or only pick up basketball
Lol, both. Broke ass jumper and can only go right...
Something tells me he probably won't outwork anybody either, hah
Hell, Matta shoulda gave him a look then.......
ha!!
HAHAHAHA I think the NFL likes it when you actually touch a college field once

How hard could it be to get a C in basket weaving?

I guess playing x-box and tweeting all day wasn't the problem.
Run_Fido's favorite word is strawman.
on to the CFL, or maybe the Bengals. They seem to be taking in a lot of charity cases.
~Because we couldn't go for three~
And making the playoffs with them. At least one NFL team in Ohio can make the playoffs.
Class of 2010.
if he gets his head right, like Burfect did, then he can be great. Can he though?
~Because we couldn't go for three~
BAM!
Good call.
It seems like people are celebrating his failure. Weird. :/
"YOLO" = I'm about to do something extremely ignorant/stupid & I need an excuse to do it.

THIS. We're not happy that he's failing everywhere he goes, it's just that we don't feel bad for him at all.

I'm sure NFL teams are already thinking of ways to trade up to get him...NOT!
