He's listed at 5'7'', but in reality he's more like 5'6''. Also, Floyd is turrible, so how much worse can it get? USCe doesn't throw deep anyway

Thanks, I wasn't sure if it was 3 or 4 in any case i'm not sure why he's still on the team.

I think judgement is suspended for now. Publicizing release from the team probably means publicizing the infractions, etc. They have a bowl in two weeks to deal with, it's probably smart of Hoke and the AD to try to dismiss this for the good of the team, at least until a later time.

I'll bet he made this face when he found out he was suspended:

"I'm One Bad Buckeye, and I approve this message."

Norfleet was moved to CB two weeks ago. So when did the actions to warrant the suspensions take place? I swear they have those players and what goes on up there locked up so tight nothing gets out until they are ready for it to get out. Always, always thought they were very shady about keeping things in house. Penn State and Paterno come to mind in comparison. Makes you wonder what really goes on there.

I disagree. Firstly, the verified news of Norfleet's move was broken this week, before being confirmed by Hoke in his bowl practice presser later in the week.

Furthermore, there's no obligation by the coach to release this information the second it happens. It's no different than injuries. If guys fail a drug test, there's no reason to blame the staff for giving it time to make the picture clear, take the correct course of action, and then release it.

In Hokes presser on the twelth he stated “Well, Norfleet we’ve moved to corner. He’s done a nice job so far.”  And then went on to say “We moved him two weeks ago, and we’ve talked about it for a while just to get another good athlete on the field.”

This seems dishonest as in hindsight he was preparing for the loss of the CB Floyd. Why else other than just an off the wall move of a player to a new position prior to a bowl game?

Says to me the offense for the suspensions would be before the two weeks that he refers to switching Norfleet to the hampered position.

Could be. Like I said, I don't think that it's really a big deal to take some time

Agree.  I think most coaches would do the exact same thing.  I don't think it's that big of a deal.  It doesn't matter when you announce the suspensions, as long as they are suspended.  I'm even surprised he publicly announced it this far in advance of the bowl game.

I read the article just to assure myself that Michiscum still sucks. As always, they never disappoint.

Hoke just wants food at the team lunch and dinners.
