So he was locked in a closet in the equipment room?

Interested to hear what is everyone making of this...IMO, knowing somewhat of the story behind Leach's firing from TTU, this seems like it could be extremely true.  This kid has some definite talent; in even attempting to look at it from the side of those who may defend Leach and tag Wilson as a liar, I still can't see Wilson sacrificing a year of football in dealing with transferring just because he was upset, sore-loser, etc.  I think I feel for this kid...hope more info leaks out soon

I go to WSU.  Wilson has been in the Coaching Staff's doghouse since spring ball.
There has been numerous reports about his lack of work ethic and effort in practice as well as in the games.  Leach has been trying all year to whip him into shape.  He has called him out in practice, in the media, and even not starting him to try and to get the message across to Wilson. Obviously, Wilson has had enough.
Now, there is no current evidence to what Wilson is claiming.  Given Leach's reason for being fired at TTU, the abuse claims are going to raise eyebrows.  Whether any actual evidence becomes available is yet to be seen.  But for the time being, Wilson right now looks like a prima dona.
Interesting to see how this all unfolds

Seriously though, I'm not sure what to think about this situation.  As good of a player as this kid seems to be, I have a hard time he'd throw it away if something really wasn't going on.  That being said, nothing in his comments led me to believe that there was anything going on here except him being tired of playing for a hard-assed coach.  (He probably wouldn't like playing for UfM if that's all it is)

Didn't Leach do this with one of their best offensive lineman? I thought I read that somewhere.

Dustin Fox was our leading tackler as a corner.... because his guy always caught the ball.

That I'm not sure of.  I know Leach has dismissed quite a few players since he has got here.  I must have missed this one

I'm tempted to believe Wilson, given what happened with Leach at Texas Tech, and the fact that Leach has repeatedly called out his team in the media, calling them heartless and whatnot.  If he says shit like that in the media, I can only imagine what he says in that locker room.  To me, it seems like Mike Leach is an ass.  Urban is a tough coach, too, but he's not an ass about it.  I can see how Leach's motivational techniques would not be very motivational to his players.  Wilson may still be a prima donna, which will make things even worse.

Evidence and sworn testimony from Adam James show that nothing happened at Texas Tech.

Leach has called out the entire senior class for believing that losing is okay. He's trying to change the culture and attitude of the program to an extreme degree, so I can see how this can be hard for the upperclassmen, but that doesn't give them an excuse to try to get them fired... there's a reason why Wazzu is a Pac-12 bottomfeeder.

The offseason begins when your season ends. Even then there are no days off.

Jason Spitz is the guy I was talking about. He's a SR offensive lineman who was benched for a freshman, I guess Spitz is considered a draftable guy.
