He's having a much, much better year than Manti Te'o. More tackles, TFL's, yards lost on TFLs, sacks, PD's, FF's. Apparentley 4 more INT's makes you a Heisman contender...OR Shazier just lacks an exploitable off the field story.

4-6 seconds from point A to point B and when you get to point B, be pissed off

HAHA I'm not saying that but standards are lessened for players when ND is winning. Shazier is having the more impactfull year. Hell Jarvis Jones is playing better than he is as well. At least Jones is getting some love.

Ryan Shazier moves closer to the "list" of Buckeye Linebacker Legends!

An angry fan...rooting for an angry team...led by angry coaches

Who cares about the Teo comparisons? Shazier is really hitting his stride at, really, the end of his first year starting (wasn't it against PSU last year at this time?). Just look at how much better he's playing now as compared to the beginning of this year.

Not to take anything away from Teo or, for that matter, many of the Buckeye LBs that have come before him, but Shazier has the ability to take over a game like few I've seen. It should only get better with arguably our best offensive player and defensive players both being true sophomores.

Where is Hyde's offensive PoW?

"YOLO" = I'm about to do something extremely ignorant/stupid & I need an excuse to do it.

Finally playing at the level that many thought he was capable of playing at all along.  As long as he plays in control he will be ok.

Shazier admitted he was not playing well early in the season.  Was overrunning plays and allowing some of those cutbacks.  Over the last three weeks he has played as well as anyone in the country.  Love the way he is developing.

Congrats to Ryan.  He has played with much more discipline these past three weeks, and it is a joy to watch.  Next year, hopefully, we'll see more talented young LBs (Perry, Grant, Williams, Perkins, Marcus, Crowell, Roberts) who have developed into starting Buckeye Linebackers.
