Wake Forest won't do it, so it's up to Lane Violation Kiffin to do it. The Trojans have a good shot at beating the Irish unless Barkley spends the entire game throwing the ball to white jerseys.

Funny. I admittedly turn down the commentators a lot, but when I did turn up herbie and Brent , I was surprised at how wonderful they made a 21-6 win over a miserable 2-7 team sound.

More like third wheel. Style points do matter when more than 2 teams are undefeated. If Oregon or K-State lose, I'd have no issue with ND in the title game if they went undefeated.

Quit the Bitching about Notre Dame. If we played their schedule and were in the same boat as them our fans would all be screaming that we should be playing for the National title game. So they struggled in a few games..EVERYONE DOES! They BLEW OUT Oklahoma in Norman and beat a good Stanford team. They don't look pretty at all times but this is football not a beauty contest. They play tough hard nosed football and only give up about 1 score a game..they have a freshman QB with hardly any elite NFL prospects on their squad besides Manti and Eifert.
Im not a fan of Notre Dame but they deserve to be up there and all the haterade that most of the Buckeyes spew is ridiculous.

After watching bama go down, why the hell not Ohio st. being the best team in the country. After all our offense is getting better and the defense is much better now days. We can certainly hang with the top 5 on a neutral site.

I agree with BuckeyeJason. Notre Dame desreves credit. I don't understand all the ND hate. We rarely play them, and when we do, we win. I'd just be happy if no SEC team wins it all. I'd like to see a Kansas State-ND title game. I honestly dont get all the hate on here. Be happy a tradition rich program is climbing back on top. I've said it before, College football is better when the traditional powers are good. When Texas, Michigan, Nebraska Notre Dame, Miami, and FSU suck, it sucks and the SEC owns everything. We need these teams to be good consistantly if we ever want to see SEC recruiting/ natty's taper off. I've always said I want Michigan to be good, it's better when we beat them that way.
Dustin Fox was our leading tackler as a corner.... because his guy always caught the ball.
I'll come clean. I was a Notre Dame fan for the four years that Kris Haines was there. After that, picking at Notre Dame and it's fan base is considered one of the simple pleasures of life. If they can win out, it doesn't matter to me one way or the other if they play for the NC.
