It was a Happy New Year!
In the Dark Time leading up to the hire, I tried to convince myself I didn't really want UfM as head coach (butt hurt left over from 2006). That obviously didn't last past when I heard he had been officially hired and I've been ecstatic ever since! Thanks Santa!

I'll be honest, I hated the SOB. But I was wrong to judge him the way I did and as an adult I am man enough to admit I was wrong. Now, if he was to coach another team...
That hire made me forget about last year's loss to Michigan very quickly. I usually stew over those for about a month or until bowl season is over.
It still seems unreal to me. What a year it has been. I too forgot about the loss quickly last year. What a ride. Happy Anniversary Urban!

It's my birthday too! Last year was the best birthday present I could have gotten.
I sat in the Giant Eagle parking lot listening to the presser, while my now ex-wife was texting me asking me where I was so she had enough time to get her boyfriend out of the house. It was a bittersweet day for me, but the best part is the fact that we now have Urbz as our personal lord and savior, and it's 4:11 PM in Columbus, OH and Michigan still sucks.
