I couldn't tell where he was, but I was worried. I was sitting in the South Stands, in the handicap section, so I saw a massive running lane, only to have Braxton forego it for a deep bomb (I won't lie, I had shades of Terrelle Pryor jump balls in my head), and then my eyes followed the ball's trajectory, and we all realitzed in unison that Devin Smith was WIDE F*CKING OPEN. Man, that was a game.
I actually didn't see the play. I was sitting down with my eyes closed unable to watch what I thought was a loss with no time left. I heard the screams and jumped up in time to see the replay. That is when I cried. I pick one game a year and I hit the jackpot two years in a row (Nebrasky this year)
This picture will never get old. The only picture of a man crying that is better than this is the one of the Neutron Man crying after OSU pummeled scUM in 2002. Best. Fan. Ever.
From my seats in 24C it seemed like time stood still. That ball was in the air for an eternity. As soon as Devin caught it "real time" kicked back in and the stadium went nutso.
I wish I could make this the background for my phone.
@DOC, there was a video game called Alter Echo that was on Xbox and PS2, and that play was like Time Dialation in that game. That's all I could think of when that play was over.
It really is wild how the brain works. When something of epic proportions is happening the brain slows things down and we are able to process information so much better. This has happened to me on more than one occasion and those memories are burned in never to be forgotten.
That game was the very definition of a roller coaster ride. I honestly think I broke something in my butt thanks to that play. After going ballistic, I was sore for about a day. lol There was a joy there that I haven't felt in all my 20+ years of being a Buckeye fan. It was one of those moments i'll never forget or apologize for being loud.
Brad Nessler's call was epic.
"YOLO" = I'm about to do something extremely ignorant/stupid & I need an excuse to do it.
God, the stadium was so loud after that play. I didn't believed it really happened for a week afterwards, and it still seems so surreal. Awesome, awesome game.

This warms my heart, thank you.
Great! That's all I need. Gif of the best play from last year running continously. My patients are going to stack up like cord wood. Never. Gets. Old.
Just beautiful. Lets start the game this weekend with a reenactment of this followed by, oh I don't know, 11 more just like it!
You can kill a fly with your slipper or a cannon. Either way, the fly dies. -Ramzy
How he was able to keep his feet behind the line of scrimmage is completely beyond me...
It was like a little toe behind the LOL Sitting in the 'Shoe waiting for the ruling on that was an enternity. Not gonna lie, I prayed

I thought he was crying during the aftermath of Saban's monumental '98 upset?
You are correct!
Rich Rod crying during Josh Groben singing 'You raise me up' when he was trying to save his job was pretty special.
This play was so beautiful in person even though everyone in my row in B deck slid across the row like an abacus to get the pole out of the way.
Taquitos.

It is a good GIF, but I like the play better with sound.
