"Not so fast, my friend!" I admit that I am fond of Lee Corso, but let's all face it: he's way past his prime. I'm surprised to hear that ESPN extended his contract.
Real fans stay for Carmen.
I feel sorry for the guy when they give him more than two sentences. I always turn the channel when either he or Desmond start talking. Life is too short.
It's not that he's good. It's that there is no replacement readily available.

IMO he is a:
yes he is all of those, and it is easy to hate on the Big 10 this year, as it is a dumpster fire.
However (comma) I do like his veiled sarcasm, and wit.
He has a wealth of knowlege and puts the work in, also i am tired of schtick and the three stooges this show has become.

Russillo hasn't been hating on the Big 10/OSU just this year, his snarky/veiled sarcasm has gone back many years. I recall distinctly having issue with Jim Tressel and OSU, because, as he put it:
when we (ESPN) go to all these campuses, they always hook us up with free cool stuff, but when we go to a certain Big10 campus they act like they are doing us a favor by letting us do our show there, and they make it hard to get interviews with their players and coaches, plus we never get any stuff.
back in that time, roughly 4 years ago, ESPN was really only going to OSU and PSU, because Michig@n was struggling with Rich Rod. Russillo never had much snarkyness with PSU back then, but OSU, he sure as hell did.
He has said watching OSU this year was like looking at a knee scab... really?
I get a chance to listen to the radio a bunch, while at work, and for the most part, I'll listen to a Sports Radio Station, instead of music. Had many opportunities to hear Russillo give his opinion, and the guy is a petty, no skill hack.... JMO.

I actually like Corso! He's entertaining! Glad the old guy will be around for another two years! And the "Ahh Fuck It!" was classic!!!! Lol
Corso is by far the best part about the show. He is funny, entertaining and knowledgable. I'm not sure how well the show will do when he lis gone. And BTW, he is a better speaker post stroke that Desmond will ever be.
