If ever evidence was needed that polsters don't watch games... Still, I'll take it. Gotta climb the polls to keep the goal of the split title alive.

At this point in the season, all that matters is the wins and not how much you won by. Did you say the same thing with all of our close calls against inferior teams in the Tressel era?

As much as I hate the Bearcats and their fans, you gotta give them props for what they have done so far this year. Also, I gotta give a big shoutout to the Bobcats.

3 undefeated Big East teams all ranked lower than 2 1 loss ACC teams.

Tex Tech and WVU are both 5-1..... WTF is voting WVU higher than the Red Raiders at this point.

Anyone else grown tired of Les Miles and his LSU Tigers? Miles in his interviews almost seems like he wants to play the whacky-shoot from the hip-I'm the coolest guy you have ever met (you just don't know it yet) attitude.

Please Alabama, help make them a 2-loss team.

Climbed to #7? Climbed? Headline should read: Buckeyes barely beat a weak Indiana team due to incredibally poor defense but still fall up one spot because two higher ranked teams got their asses handed to them.

Ladies,

While I'm with you that the D should be better, can you imagine the outrage on this site if the 7-0 Buckeyes were punished for an inconference win? There would be more derpity-derp on here than /b/ could shake a stick at.

#7 seems so high considering we have a porous D but then you look at all the other teams (Bama aside I guess) and they're all just as guilty of having that one fatal flaw as we are. I don't see why our strengths aren't as strong as those of any of these teams that people seem to think should be ranked ahead of us.

#8 didn't seem high after Nebraska right? So I don't feel too bad about a small jump. My feelings on the defense is that while it is bad & needs lots of work - the guys basically quit playing when the score was 52-27 or whatever it was...So while things need to change, those guys also need to play even when we are ahead & hopefully that was a lesson learned!

They need to spend some time with Mr. Spielman. I'm sure after that talk none of them would ever consider taking their foot off the gas before the whistle blows.

Plus it would probably involve a two-hour lecture on proper form tackling.
