Meyer's got lots of clout with the AP. If the "perfect storm" of college football possibilities transpires, Meyer might find himself lobbying the AP like he did the BCS, at the end of the 2006 regular season.

And the AP might listen, given the collective disdain its membership feels for the BCS.

Don't know what you mean by "Meyer has clout with the AP." Definitely don't think that is true. I don't think voters hate him by any means, but I'd say they are just indifferent.

You know, I wondered if your recent comment about what "OSU fans think" (regarding other game-day experiences and the SEC) was a little, didactic.

Wisconsin went from #13 to completely out of the top 25. Poor Bret and Montee is losing money by the quarter of football played.

I don't think many people realized how much of an impact Wilson was making. I mean who would have thought they had a starting NFL quarterback playing last year.

Just win baby. As much as we like to complain about the issues the Buckeyes have on the field - at least we didn't lose, and didn't nearly lose to UCF. Even if we're not playing like a 10 win team, we're finding out that some teams on our schedule aren't as good as we thought they were, so we may actually be more likely to be a 10 win team, especially if we figure it out.
