A Small Forward named "King" from Akron SVSM....... i like Thad's thinking here

Shouldn't he have played a few games before offering the kid? Seems logical..

Thad offered BJ Mullens before he even reached high school as well... BJ turned out to be the #1 recruit in his class pre-college FWIW.

This kid is on everyone's radar.  He has been on AAU elite teams playing one or two grades up.  No brainer here for an offer to be extended.

I feel like we usually skewer the coaches who offer kids this young. But of course I hope it works out. Either way, it's probably not going to cross my mind again for a few years.

It's different to offer a basketball recruit this young than a football recruit.

This kid is the real deal, geting in early is a good thing! There's lots of time and ball between now and signing day for young Mr. King.
