Best of luck to him. Regardless of the off field issues, he left with quite a lot to be proud of. Several B10 championships & BCS wins as well as a couple Ws against that school up north. I wish he'd been a little more mature and made some better off field decisions. But I know I've made some mistakes in life, I just had the benefit of not having ESPN or other major publications ready to air my dirty laundry.

Well done on the subheading. I LOLed (and also realized I retained some Spanish from my earlier education).

Yep, subheading = win.

This is a Jim Tressel quote basically taken from the man's mouth:

“I’m doing great,” Pryor said. “I worry about the things I can control. I just want to get one percent better every day. If I can do that, I’m working toward my goal.”

Sounds like he's gotten himself a PR advisor. It kills him that he didn't graduate? As far as I knew he never even declared a major through junior year. What is a degree worth if it isn't in anything? I'm glad he's finally saying the right things in public, but some of it is a bit over the top if you've heard the stories about him from when he was here.

Shaun you may be right about the major, but I had heard he was only a couple classes from graduating going into his senior year.  He may not be an honors student, but he took care of his academics.
The other thing that struck me about the article is his loyalty.  He immersed himself in the Raiders and their history.  I think he felt the same way about OSU and unfortunately made some mistakes that meant we weren't able to reciprocate that loyalty.

No comprende.

I translated Pryor's "everybody murders" quotation into Spanish. Probably really bad, broken Spanish since I don't know proper Spanish.

Well, a few errors, but we get the gist.

“Any time you give a man something he doesn't earn, you cheapen him. Our kids earn what they get, and that includes respect.”  - Woody
