Didn't the Mustard and Blue guy from up north have all his Ohio players locked up before Meyer came to Ohio State?
That's what I was thinking, Jim. He did retain players after Meyer was named OSU's coach, but correct me if I'm wrong: I don't think he pulled in any top players after the announcement.
