This was from a Longhorn Commenter Board, not Houston Fans. I don't really have a dog in the fight here, but the buckshot should probably be edited. I read through some of it, the bear's intention was to laugh at the outrage caused by his wearing that costume compared to the outrage garnered when JoePa was fired.

I'm not buying buying the "demonstration of moral outrage" angle that the guy is trying to sell. I think he's just another asshole trying to win the internet.

IMO it's in poor taste and neither respectful nor empathatic to the JS victims.

I'm in agreement with you NC. I'm pretty much a fan of most jokes done in poor tastes, but this is a topic I just don't find that funny. This asshat was just trying to get on TV and have college football and sports blogs link his picture all over the place. Congrats, it worked, but be a man and own up to what it really was, don't try to sell us this bogus line.

I'm by no means easily offended but that is awful and it's most certainly not funny. The stadium should have never let him/her enter wearing that or at the very least they should have escorted it out as soon as the facility realized it is a mock-mascot for pedophiles.

A FL-UM-B1G fan wearing a fake tattoo sleeve is funny. This is not.

We should strive to keep thy name, of fair repute and spotless fame...
